Stephanie Hughes is Founder for The Chapel Hill North Group, a provider of business and market research services for corporations. She is responsible for initiating business development efforts and overseeing project efforts in support of Chapel Hill North activities. Stephanie also serves as Associate Professor of Strategy at Northern Kentucky University and previously founded RiskAware, a provider of risk management services to the higher education marketplace. In her previous role, she had ten years of experience in competitive intelligence and market research activities for Fortune 100 firms. The majority of this research was spent conducting due diligence activities for a mergers and acquisition group specializing in assisting clients on the purchase and sale of businesses in the $20-$150 million range. Prior to this position, she conducted market analysis studies for public and private corporations while completing her requirements for a Ph.D. in International Business.
Her professional career in international economic analysis began with a two-year assignment as a Foreign Service Officer in Washington, D.C. Stephanie received her BS in Marketing and an MBA in International Business from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. She received her Ph.D. in International Business and Strategic Management at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
