Dave Herche joined the Advisory Board of the Malibu Group in 2004. The firm has benefited tremendously from Dave’s ability to transform operations, empower people, identify turnaround opportunities, and think strategically. Dave used these skills to help grow Enerfab Corporation, WestChester Marketing and numerous boards on which he serves. Under Dave’s leadership, Enerfab has grown into a leading supplier of designing systems for brewing, juice, and fossil fuel power industries.
Dave also played an integral role in the turnaround of WestChester Marketing in 2000 and empowered them to become the leading importer of work gloves and other protective clothing for both the industrial and consumer markets. Dave is currently the CEO of Westchester Marketing and Chairman of Enerfab.
With an accounting degree from Miami University, Dave began his career with Arthur Andersen for eleven years before he joined Enerfab in 1983 where he began the quest to make them the industry leader that they are today.
Dave is a member of CEO, WPO, and on an advisory council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Dave was appointed by the governor of Ohio to the board of Trustees at Miami University. He also earned the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1996 for Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. In 2001 Dave was inducted into the Entrepreneurial Center Hall of Fame at Miami University. Dave and his wife have been married for 30+ years and they have two sons.
