Brent Schroeder is a Senior Advisor at ArkMalibu. He is an experienced global executive having served in various leadership roles at Emerson Electric for over 35 years.
While at Emerson, Brent served as president of multiple businesses, including:
- Fusite, a global manufacturer of specialized electrical connectors for the HVAC/R industry;
- Therm-O-Disc, a global supplier of sensors and controls for the appliance, HVAC, and automotive industries; and
- Climate Technologies Air Conditioning, the industry’s leading compressor manufacturer and supplier to OEMs and Distributors known for technology leadership and operational excellence.
In 2016, Brent was promoted to Group President, Heating & Air Conditioning, of Emerson’s Commercial & Residential Solutions group. In this role, he was responsible for Emerson’s businesses serving the HVAC industries and solutions ranging from Copeland compressors, White-Rogers valves and controls, and Sensi thermostats and monitoring solutions. Total revenues exceeded $2 billion.
In 2022, Brent was named Chief Operating Officer & Head of Global Technology for Emerson’s Climate Technologies Group, with revenue of approximately $5 billion. The Climate Technologies Group later became Copeland after its divestiture from Emerson to Blackstone. Brent was part of the senior executive team which led Copeland through its divestiture and established Copeland as a new stand-alone company. In this role, Brent was responsible for Copeland’s global operations strategy, advanced manufacturing, supply chain, innovation, research, and new product development. Brent was also intimately involved in developing Copeland’s business model and Lean business operating system.
In addition to his work at Emerson and Copeland, Brent has served in several industry and community leadership roles. They include: The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute Board of Directors; American Corporate Partners (ACP) Mentorship; North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Board of Trustees; and Ohio Northern KEEN Advisory Board. Brent attended Ohio Northern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. While at Ohio Northern, Brent was a member of the varsity basketball and golf teams. Brent and his wife, Kelly, currently reside in Troy, OH and have two adult children.
